Long-term rental makes sense when you need a car for months rather than days, but you do not want to buy one or tie yourself to a multi-year lease. You pay for the period that actually runs, and when the need ends you hand the car back. Three things differ from leasing: no down payment, no residual value risk, no multi-year commitment.
How it differs from leasing
An operating lease and a long-term rental both give you a car without buying it. The difference is in what you sign and what you carry.
Where leasing wins: if you know you will need the car for several years and can estimate your mileage, the monthly instalment tends to be lower. Long-term rental pays off when the need has an end date, or an uncertain one.
How monthly invoicing works
We do not charge the whole rental up front. It is split across calendar months in proportion to the days falling into each, and every month gets its own invoice.
If something changes mid-rental — an added driver or service — it is handled by an addendum and a separate invoice for the difference. The original contract and the months already invoiced stay untouched.
The deposit instead of a down payment
The deposit is not a payment for the rental. It is money we hold aside in case of damage, not our income.
What is included and what you pay for
No smoking inside the car, animals only in a carrier, no sporting events. The rules do not change with the length of the rental.
Who it suits
When it does not suit: if you need the car permanently and drive substantially more than the 150 km daily allowance. Owning or leasing then works out cheaper.
How to arrange it
Pick a car from our fleet — premium SUVs and one pickup, based in Horné Mýto near Dunajská Streda and in Košice. The booking form on the vehicle page shows the price for your dates. Booking is online: identity is verified through the website by an external provider and the contract is signed electronically, so nothing needs printing or posting. If you need the car for longer than the booking form covers, write to us through the contact form with your dates and expected monthly mileage. The requirements — a driving licence held for at least two years, a minimum age of 21 — 25 for premium and sports vehicles, which is what our whole fleet is, and a valid ID card or passport — are set out in the FAQ and the terms and conditions.

- Instead of a down payment you place a refundable deposit, returned once the car is back and the rental is settled.
- No multi-year commitment. We agree the term you need, and extensions are handled by an addendum to the contract.
- Residual value and reselling the car afterwards stay with us — the car is and remains our property.
- Kilometres are not reconciled once a year with a bill at the end of the contract; the 150 km daily allowance is shown when you book.
- You receive an invoice for a service, month by month; check with your accountant how that fits your books.

- We do not invoice months that have not begun — the invoice for the next month is issued when its period starts. Payment terms are in the terms and conditions.
- Services agreed at booking (delivery, an extra driver, prepaid kilometres) are charged once, on the first monthly invoice.
- The deposit never enters the monthly schedule. It is not subject to VAT and no invoice is issued for it.
- Invoices are emailed as attachments and are also in your account under the rental.
- The invoice states the customer's company and VAT number; a VAT number from another EU member state means the invoice goes out under the reverse charge mechanism.

- The Mercedes-Benz GLS 450d and the BMW X7 carry a deposit of €3,500, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 400d and the Dodge Ram 1500 carry €2,000.
- Clients from abroad pay more: €3,000 in the Premium class and €5,250 in the Luxury class.
- It is paid by bank transfer against a payment request with its own reference number, and the request carries a QR code for the payment. We block nothing on your card.
- We send it back once the car is returned and the rental is settled. If damage is not yet quantified — we may be waiting for the workshop or the insurer — the deposit is held until it is.
What is included and what you pay for
- The price includes comprehensive insurance, compulsory third-party insurance, the Slovak motorway vignette and 24/7 roadside assistance.
- The price includes 150 km per day on every car we have. Kilometres above the allowance cost 0.75 to €1.10 each depending on the vehicle class; prepaid in advance they cost 0.58 to €0.94.
- Fuel, traffic fines and tolls outside the Slovak vignette are on you.
- Trips abroad must be reported in advance. We record the consent in the contract and add a cross-border fee by country — €30, €70 or €250.
- An extra driver has to be named at booking with a copy of their licence, and costs €10 per day. A child seat is €8 per day.
- Delivery is free in Košice and Dunajská Streda and costs €50 in Bratislava; elsewhere it is calculated from the driving distance during booking.
- Other items, such as the fees after an accident or a traffic offence, are in the fee schedule.
